Kathryn's mission is to reconnect people with plants for optimum health and balance through herbal consultations, custom blends, and classes/workshops because plants and people are made for each other.
She is the founder of Cultivating Roots LLC, a small-scale herb farm and apothecary based out of Bucks County, PA and Titusville, NJ. Most recently, she formed an Herbalists Without Borders chapter in Mercer County, NJ because of her belief in health and wellness is our birthright, and everyone deserves equal access.
She has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology, and have spent the last several years working and studying with different herbalists. She finished the two-year clinical herbalist training program at David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies, where she is currently taking a Therapeutics program. In addition, I she is working with Andrew Appello of Healthy Living Acupuncture in Princeton, NJ to become a registered herbalist of the American Herbalist Guild. She will always be a student, and will forever be in awe of the plants.
The Alchemist's Kitchen is a unique destination in the Bowery. More than a botanical dispensary and a whole plant tonic bar serving elixirs and healthy treats, we are a gateway into a conscious lifestyle and community, through our plant-based products, wellness events and transformational workshops.
